About

I am Francesca and yes, I am in love with food!!! The idea behind my blog comes from the necessity to celebrate this intense feeling. I could spend hours observing and enjoying the colours of the ingredients, the rituals behind the preparation of a meal, the way people interpret and make their recipes and the immense satisfaction after tasting delicacies.

My blog is called TheFoodyTeller, where Foody is a blend of  food and story, and this is what the blog is about. I am going to tell authentic stories, meet genuine and passionate people, visit idyllic places and of course taste excellent food.

I grew up in a village of the south of Italy where there is a narration behind every recipe. I can still remember the day my grandma showed me how to prepare Parmigiana telling me it was the first plate she cooked for my grandpa. She was laughing remembering anecdotes and this is the feeling I want to recreate through my stories.
